The basics

  • cmd + f - Start a new search.
  • cmd + k - Quick switcher: jump to a conversation or channel.
  • cmd + / - Open the shortcuts menu (view all keyboard shortcuts).

Navigating common areas

  • cmd + shift + t - Open the Threads view.
  • ctrl + 1 - Go to the first section (typically the Home view).
  • ctrl + 2 - Go to the second section (usually the Threads).
  • ctrl + 3 - Go to the third section (often the All DMs view).
  • ctrl + 4 - Go to the fourth section.

  • shift + enter - Start a new line without sending the message.
